Tanenbaum’s CEO Rev. Mark Fowler will interview Ramy Youssef – comedian, actor, writer, and director – on his journey in the entertainment industry, the importance of self-representation in the media, and the intersectional identities we hold and need to honor. The goal of this panel is to emphasize media representations as forms of cross-cultural communication that influence our understanding of—and interactions with—religious differences. This conversation will also illustrate the importance of self-representation and collaboration in inclusive and ethical storytelling.
